A holistic and mindful approach to body care is the basis of our philosophy. At Bodhi Naturae, we see beauty holistically. Mindful beauty is a beauty routine that helps to relax and recharge the mind, increasing awareness and focusing on the present moment. “Transforming the beauty routine into a conscious ritual that leads to wellbeing and health is our goal.

Our mission is to create high-performance products inspired by Ayurvedic rituals that nourish the skin, elevate the mind and honor our mother earth. We want to inspire people to follow a holistic and sustainable lifestyle even in their beauty routine.

If we see the whole picture, skin care is a means of prevention, a way to counteract daily stress, and anxieties. A means to increase awareness and self-love, and achieve true well-being of both body and mind. It’s no secret that a holistic lifestyle combining meditation, yoga exercise, a balanced diet, good sleep, and a correct skincare regime can deliver powerful wellbeing benefits. This approach will be reflected in the skin through a beautifully radiant and glowing appearance.

Meditation

Meditation is an amazing tool for me to calm my mind and help me establish a deeper connection with myself and others. Aim to meditate 10-15 minutes a day, early in the morning and in the evening before bedtime.

Aromatherapy

It is an extraordinary tool for achieving the well-being of the mind and body, as well as a pleasure for the senses and a joy for those who use it. I use different essential oils blended together that really support my general wellbeing. I carry it with me everywhere in my handbags and use it on my pulse points and behind my ears. Among all, my favorite oils are rose, lavender, patchouli, mint, orange, clary sage and sandalwood.

Affirmations

I’m a fan of positive affirmations. I believe we have great power over our minds and if we choose positive thoughts we can help ourselves and those around us. Once a day, I read my favorite phrases and think about the positive things I have.

Exercise

Exercise is crucial to me as it makes me feel energized and ready for the day. Daily exercise improves blood flow, releasing toxins and strengthened the muscles. I try to do this at least 3-4 times a week, even if it’s only for 30 minutes. My favorites are yoga, swimming, tennis, and jumping rope.
I find that exercising regularly is great for your emotional as well as physical well-being. Sometimes, having a thousand things to do during the day, I do yoga with our face mask on!

Nutrition

Following Ayurveda philosophy, I believe that a varied and balanced diet is the first step toward healthy and glowing skin. I believe that is fundamental to nourish your skin from the inside out. So if you don’t feed your body with the right nutrients it needs, skincare products can only go so far. Essential fatty acids, proteins, vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats will improve your natural radiance. One of my favorite morning rituals is starting my day with warm water with a squeeze of lemon. This simple step will help you detox your body, and improve you

Good sleep

Good and relaxing sleep is vital to maintaining a healthy mind and lifestyle. Do you know that during the night our body regenerates and detoxifies itself? Having 7-9 hours of sleep is healthy for our most important organs as the brain, immune system, nervous system, and hormones.

My tips?

  • Try to go to sleep and wake up around the same time as often as possible.
  • Keep all the electronic devices such as phones, tablets, and televisions outside of the bedroom.
  • Make sure your bedroom is completely dark. The body produces melatonin, the hormon that control the sleep cycle, when it can’t see any light.
  • Stay away form caffein later in the day.
  • Find your best night ritual such as bath, shower, relaxing massage. I personally love the 3 minute-foot massage with our body oil. It help relieve mental tension form my day and creates a relaxing sensation for truly restful sleep.

Nature

Spend time surrounding by nature. It help feel more focused, grounded and be present. I try to spend the weekends walking outdoors among nature, smelling its scents, looking at its fantastic colors and enjoying the moment. When I feel overwhelmend it help me just wlalk outside with my dog and feel the power of nature.
